Job Summary

Ambit Software is looking for a skilled .NET Full Stack Developer to join our team in Pune. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in .NET technologies (C# / VB.NET), React, REST APIs, and relational databases. You should be passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using .NET technologies and React.
• Build robust backend services using C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Develop responsive, reusable, and interactive user interfaces using React.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for third-party system integrations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and modern frontend development practices.
• Work with relational databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, stored procedures, and ensure efficient data flow.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Follow secure coding standards, coding best practices, and application performance optimization techniques.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Competencies & Technical Expertise

• 3–6 years of strong experience in .NET development using C# / VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Hands-on experience building enterprise web applications, Web APIs, and backend modules.
• Strong experience with React.js and modern JavaScript
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (SQL Server/Oracle).
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.

Nice to Have (Optional) Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or automated deployment practices.
• Exposure to Prompt-Based Coding using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants to improve developer productivity.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP guidelines, and application performance optimization.
