AI Developer – Azure / Generative AI

About the Role
We are looking for an AI Developer to build secure, scalable, production-ready applications using Microsoft Azure and Generative AI technologies.
You will work on RAG solutions, AI agents, enterprise copilots and LLM-powered business applications, taking ideas from proof of concept to production.
What You’ll Do
* Build AI applications using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI services.
* Develop RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval and context construction.
* Work with Azure Cosmos DB vector search and other knowledge stores.
* Create AI agents, workflows and enterprise copilots.
* Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, CRM, ERP and other business systems.
* Apply prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling, grounding and guardrails.
* Improve solution accuracy, performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
* Contribute to architecture, development, testing, deployment and monitoring.
* Collaborate with technical and business teams to solve real-world problems.
What You’ll Bring
* Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure OpenAI.
* Experience building RAG and LLM-powered applications.
* Understanding of embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering and context management.
* Experience with Azure Cosmos DB vector search; Azure AI Search or other vector databases are a plus.
* Strong development experience with C# / .NET / ASP.NET Core, REST APIs and microservices.
* Familiarity with Python, Azure SDKs, Microsoft Entra ID and Azure DevOps.
* Understanding of AI security, evaluation, observability and responsible AI.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience building enterprise copilots, AI assistants or document intelligence solutions.
* Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows or Semantic Kernel.
* Familiarity with MCP, Docker, CI/CD and Azure container services.
* Experience taking AI solutions from POC to production.
* Experience with enterprise data and complex integrations.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field is preferred. Relevant hands-on experience and AI projects are also valued.
