Job Description :

  • Expert-level proficiency in handling operating systems like Windows and Mac, along with UNIX and Linux-based environments
  • Creating, Implementing, Standardizing, and Updating IT and Security Policies for the Organization
  • Supporting users with IT hardware and software requests via the helpdesk system Assigning tasks to IT executives based on schedule and expertise
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, and record middleware web services, database services, application software, and management tools.
  • Proven experience with FTP, FTPS, and STP software
  • Comprehensive firewall and server room management
  • Manage web servers and related problems running on IIS, Apache, etc.
  • Upgrading current IT infrastructure by modifying or updating current resources or procuring new ones
  • Managing the LAN/WAN environment and liaising with the vendors for support
  • Gain expertise on the organization’s ERP systems and mitigate support requests
  • Knowledge of zero-trust workspace architecture
  • Proven experience in managing G-Suite and other Google products
  • Virtual support to the users via remote desktop applications
  • Manage data networks and security. Periodic system backup (daily, weekly, monthly) and recovery
  • Managing software subscriptions for the organization and liaising with vendors for support
  • Planning and procuring AMCs in coordination with the inventory team for all IT-related BE/B-Tech in Computer Science/IT is preferred.
  • CCNA/Red Hat/Microsoft/Linux certified with 5+ years of experience in a similar role and 3+ years of experience at the leadership level
  • Proven knowledge in hardware, networking, L1 troubleshooting, servers, firewalls, and operating systems
  • A good knowledge of the English language is needed for drafting policies and project plans
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Proactive in suggesting new solutions to the management to improve the efficiency of the organization
  • Ability to identify, plan, priorities, and assign tasks to subordinates and follow-up to see through completion, along with roster management for the team
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, the latest technologies, virtualization, etc
  • Ability to research and become an SME on an organization’s IT infrastructure and policies, along with the ERP systems
  • Ability to provide users with step-by-step technical support in layman’s language
